I've tried to use a script to do the switch but its still not immediate... Whats happening is i want to switch between the modes with a click of the button, but whenever i click the button i will still remain in find mode... Only when i click on the button another time, then will it switch to browse mode displayin all the records.. What could be the problem here? I'm using a script to open the layout and this is how the script goes.. Are u refering to the Find button that appears on the left hand side whenever we enter find mode? If you are refering to that find button, then yes.. after i perform my enter browse mode script, the screen still stays in find mode. Only when i perform my script another time, then does the filemaker return me to the browse mode.. Its pretty weird and i can't seem to understand wats wrong..
