Splash screens when opening related files

Is there anyway to get rid of the splash screens that appear when your database opens related files? Mine opens about 10 related files in the Open Script and I'd like to show a screen that says something like, "Please wait while the system starts up", without having each splash screen pop up as files are opened.

Unless you go to FMP 7 and integrate all the databases into the one file as tables.
