Preview and Print Not Working Past Page 1.

Featured Replies

For some reason, my multi-page layout, which shows and is functional in Browse mode, does not show right in Print or Preview. Meaning, when I switch to Preview, only page 1 of all 6 pages shows. All of the pages from 2-6 are a single text field, but from what i gather, that should be no problem. Also, the Body extends all of the way from Header to end of Document. Any problems evident in what i'm saying? All i know is that this is a big holdup to a project that is ALMOST DONE!

Thanks for any advice.

Sounds like the FileMaker settings need to be changed in the Print dialog to "Records being browsed". If this is scripted, you will need to print with the new settings, then go back into the script, make sure there is a Page Setup script step, exit, and save the new the Page Setup if it asks.

thanks for the tip, but it didn't do the trick. it did enable me to print all the pages of all the records in the file, but it didn't allow for any changes in what i could see in the preview, or to print more than I was able to with that single record.

Did you find a way to do it?? I think I am having the same problem...

Do you mean to say that you've got a text field that is six pages long? It should work. Why don't you post up an empty copy of your file & we can see what the problem is...
