New data from added field not showing.

I have an existing file that I just added a field using If(Test1,result one, result two). It works fine with all new records, but I cannot figure out how to get the old records updated with the new information,

FileMaker Version: 6

Platform: Mac OS X Panther

Sounds like the new field is not defined as a calculation. Change the field type to Calculation and try it.
