how to retain import(symbol) text format

I'd some symbols(alpha, beta,..Greek) fonts in a text field of FM4 data base.

When I import/export it in the script into another FM4, the symbols changed

into regular english (alpha -> a, beta-> b..) fonts before import/export.

I'd read one of posted message "how to retain the export text format in

Upper/lower case, but not symbols. Is there any way to retain/keep the text

format (including upper, lower, symbols, bold, underline..., whatever the

format was in) before/after import/export ?
