Script step Sort when emailing files to a different machine

Is there a way to make sure that the sort script works as set up when the script was created even if the files have been emailed to another machine?

I need to frequently email an updated version of a set of 7 related FM5.0 files to a client (from my Mac to his PC). All script steps function fine except those that work on a 'restore' system. The most imporant in my case is the 'sort' script step, which is unfortunately used in all 7 files. Therefore once the files have been emailed to the client, calculations don't work properly because the sort doesn't work as it was set up.

Any ideas how to work around this problem would be very much appreciated.
