print script (to be used in runtime version)

Featured Replies

I am developing a database that is to be converted to a runtime version.

Now i need two different print script steps.

1] a print script to print the current record

2] a print script to print selected records.

I have seen that in the print dialog box the user can (or even more, must) select to print either the current record or the selected record.

In the runtime version i obviously do not want the user to have this choice. So what i do is i make two script steps. The first step to print one record and the second one to print the selected. In both scripts i have disabled the show dialog option.

So far so good.

But how about the printer choice.

Maybe this is a silly question. But to what printer are the records (or the record) printed in the runtime version when the user has no print dialog anymore.

I assume to the default printer, but i am not sure.

Am i worrying about things that are no problem ?

Sorry, for this so obvious question,

thanks
