Hi,

I cannot find the "perform External Script" in either specific button, or other place.

It is part of the Perform Script step. When you select the Perform Script step in a script, a menu appears where you can select which script to perform. The first option (at least in FMP5) is External, which brings up an open dialog box where you select the file that has the script you wish to run. After you select a file, another dialog comes up where you select which script in that file that you wish to run.
