Sorting by different fields in the same DB file

Hello everybody,

I have a problem regarding sorting by different fields in the same DB file.

After I created a second columnar report (with some summary calculations by a different field than the initial sorting field), I noticed that I have changed the sorting order of the entire DB file.

So, my question is, if it possible to have different sorting orders in the same DB file, to sort the records by different fields for different layouts of the file and how could I do that?

Any help/suggestion would be very much appreciated. Especially quick ones...

Use separate scripts with different sort orders preserved in each. You can use different layouts with the correct summary parts defined in each (or you could combine them into one, with different parts for different break fields.)

Summary fields themselves are not dependant on the sorting criteria, they will summarize by whatever summary-part they are on in the layout.
