In FMPro6 I used a plugin called Oazium Events to trigger a script when a field was exited (tabbed out of).

Is there any way to automatically invoke a script without using a plug-in?

Thanx,

No. There are plug-ins in addition to Events that perform variations on this task but there is no "built-in" way to do this with FP only.

This is something we've all been bugging FileMaker for, but has never materialized. As Doug says, there are plug-ins to do this, but another way to look at it is to rethink your interface & get the functionality another way. By which I mean, why do you need a function (script) to occur after a Tab? Why not Enter or a mouse-click? Or something else altogether?
