OSX panther update 5.5v2 failure:resource modified

When trying to use the updater for upgrading developer 5.5v1 to 5.5v2, both in the classic environment as well as a native started OS 9, I get an error after the installation has just begun. Error message is 'Resource was modified'.

Anybody a clue?

My system is Panther, the current Filemaker (Developer) 5.5v1 is running smoothly there. The updater asks to go to classic.

Problem solved...there is a separate 5.5v2 updater for OSX

which I overlooked...
