Force a Script to print records being browsed?

Featured Replies

Hi, Presently Im using FileMaker Pro 6 on both Mac and PC, and I have a number of print scripts within my database.

At the moment when I hit the print button, it seems to print out the script and not the layout I want. I have to go to the FileMaker option in each print dialog box and choose either records being browsed or current record. How can I force the system to remember I want to print out records being browsed or current record.

Thanks in advance guys

The first time you run your print script, use the print with dialog option, and after the print comand put a halt, to halt the script. Run the script and choose all the options you want ie. Current record, records been browse, page size, etc. Then open the script again and close it again, a dialog will ask you if you want to replace or not the print oprions, choose replase, and test the script again. After you are satisfy, just remove the halt and print with dialog option.

Remember, in each script you can only remember one print settings.

I hope you understand me.
