A Calendar interface file written in FileMaker 7. This preview shows the progress so far and uses some of the features in FM 7 to display a robust calendar for your date-driven data.

This calendar differs from others in it's minimalist approach, and is very much influenced by Apple's iCal. The philosophy here is to stay as much standards compliant as possible while presenting an nice FileMaker solution.

This release is to provide a preview of some of the features set that are in mind for a nice robust calendar module that can easily be applied to any data quickly without increasing the overhead needed in any of your solutions. More is in the works, but the current build is available at the following link.

Nice! Are you going to start charging for this when it's completed?

I do not intend to charge for the final calendar solution, I work on it in my "spare" time and want to contribute back to the community. Please let me know what you think, I receive little feedback and would like to know if there's more interest in this app.

I would think that there would be a lot of interest in this solution... It seems quite a bit faster than Cleveland consulting's calendar even on a local machine. I guess this is because of the use of native filemaker graphics. I'm looking for a system like this which I can link to a data file that has schedule conflict checking built in posted here:

It looks like linking them should be straightforward, but I just haven't had time to work on it yet.
