Hi there,

Can anyone please tell me if it is possible to get another licence for the same server? I am setting up another office and was wondering if it were possible/cheaper to get a "shared server licence" or something similar.

It sounds like you mean a second server license, for a second machine. I don't think there is any discount available, but you can always contact FMI and see what they say. If, on the other hand, your other office will continue to use the original server, you don't need another license.

You should only ever run one copy of FileMaker Server on a computer. It may not be possible to run more than one anyway.

Have you exceeded FMS's 120-odd file limit already?

Stanley I did mean a second licence for a second server so I shall contact FMI as suggested.
