hi

i have a portal displaying related operations for patients, the operations are categorized and have a name, rather than display all possible operations i want to filter them by category

so have 2 value lists within portal, one category and the other procedures

problems

1. wont let me create new records

2. db tries to update info in category db, recategorizing procedures?

solution

i have checked relationships to make sure creation of records is all correct
