I need multiple records to share the same value.

I am trying to create a sales order file where every record is a new item. All items under the same sales order number will have the same shipping and billing information. My problem is that I don't want people to have to re-enter this same information for all the items on a particular sales order number. I have tried lookups, but if the information isn'e entered on the first record it is kind-of pointless.

Make a second table for customers. When the user enters the customer number, the address is looked up from the Customers table and you can then modify it as you wish.

Thanks Jerry,

As soon as I posted this...the thought of making another table came to my mind and worked perfect.
