mscholtz Posted June 8, 2004 Share Posted June 8, 2004 Hello All, I have a client who recently upgraded their SBS 2000 server to SBS 2003, and found that they could not re-install their copy of FMPS 5.5. Specifically, they get an error when the installer runs stating: Error 1904.Module E;Program FilesFilemakerFilemaker Server 5.5RegistrationIRaVCobj.dll failed to register HRESULT-2147467260 Contact your support personnel They did contact FMI and were told simply that they don't "support" running FMPS 5.5 on SBS 2003 and that they should upgrade to FM7. That won't work for a variety of reasons. I have read elsewhere that several people have gotten FMPS 5.5 to run on Windows Server 03. I have yet to read anything about SBS 2003. So, my questions: * Has anyone successfully gotten FMPS to install and/or run on SBS 2003? * Has anyone else had problems *installing* FMPS 5.5 on any flavor of Windows Server 2003? * Can anyone tell me anything about the specific error that was thrown here and/or how to prevent it?
