Hi

I have downloaded the updater FMP server v4 from Filemaker.com and run it severeal time on my v2 installed on a Mac OSX-Server 10.2.8 but I always get an error during the installation "Error preventing the update of complicated error 11002:2,-14". I even tried on a Mac OSX-10.2.8 but the installer gives the same error message.

Can anyone help urgently? Thanks.

I'm not familiar with that error, but i know you'll have problems if you have moved the FileMaker Server folder off the root directory. If the FileMaker Server folder is not in the Macintosh HD directory, reinstall both FileMaker Server, and the v4 update.

Call FileMaker. They should be able to help.

I am in Africa... and here there is no FileMaker to call.

So I would appreciate if someone on the list could help me with a full install FMP server 5.5.

I own an official FMP server 3 and bought and upgrade 2 years ago.

I hope you understand that Africa is slightly different than US.
