FM6 data to FM7????

I have data from a FM6 solution which I want to import into a FM7 solution.

The FM7 solution was opened in FM7 from the version 6. A lot of data has been entered in the 7 version but I need to transfer it to the version 6 solution on another machine, I know it would be simpler to go over to FM 7 altogether, but my company wants to stick with FM 6.Help.....

export the records from the fm7 file to some text format (.tab, .csv, .xml) Then import the data into the fm6 file. Unless you have container fields in the fm7 file... then you're on your own.

Yes I have containers! What Now?

Are they embedded containers or references to files? If they are embedded you will have to manually export them and reimport into FM6. Also be careful because FM7 allows a lot more types of files to be stored within containers. These may not work in 6.
