FM 5 to FM 7 question...

Last evening, under "FM Pro-General Discussions",I made a request for a Coin Collection DB. A fine person lead me to this...http://www.fmforums.com/threads/download.php?Number=53165

My Question- (Running FM7), When I try to open the this DB: 1st-FM says it must convert this (FM 5 DB)- OK, no problem, it does it's thing. 2nd- says time and date incorrect use File or System Settings ?- I tried both ways- seems to start. Then a snag...#3- Says I must use FM 6.0v3 or later and only offers a close button....well I'm using 7.01, is that not good enough ? In short, I can't see the DB cuz it closes up. Anyone have Ideas on how I can get this DangBurn DB to open ? Thanks in Advance. grin.gif

It's probably the way that you converted it. I converted the Resources files first, then created a new folder for the version 7 files, then a new Resources folder, put the 7 files in; then converted the final "top" file. Something like that. It's tricky when files have fancy opening/closing routines, which apparently these do (a little too much flashing going on).

In any case here's the converted files. But you should try again, just for fun.
