Cross my heart .... I have done a search. So I must be missing something.

I am trying to import data into Table2 in a file. No matter what I do, FMP wants to import the data into Table1. How on earth do I tell it where to put the data?

Make sure you are on a layout that shows records from Table 2.

Remember in v7 a layout is tied to a specific table. go to layout setup while in layout mode to determine which table is the source.
