how to script to print individual line records from a portal data base. in short, a label for each portal row. on separate lables.

Welcome to the Forums.

You should not print from a portal. Set up a layout in the file/table where the data resides, make it the size of your dymo labels, find the set you want, then print all records. It's the best way to do it.

If you are using a dymo label printer, take a look at this post I made a while back. If you are just printing a single label using data that is in a portal row, then I don't think his caution applys. But he is right that printing from protals can get buggy at times.
