Printing MICR checks using Troy 1300 (hp) printer

Wondering if anyone is using the Hardware/Software from Troy to produce MICR checks? Or for that matter another MICR type of setup.

It seems to be a more economic to produce checks on blank stock then to get them from check producing places such as Deluxe etc.

I am writing a solution that would be great for this.

Any comments or info would be greatly appreciated, seeing that this will be a big cash outlay, i just wanted to know if someone is actually doing it and how it is handled in fm and if it is working in there solution properly.
