Is there a way in Filemaker 5.5 (Windows) to have one window maximized and another minimized? I'd like to achieve the effect of a pop-up window.

In my experience, minimising a window seems to "restore" all the other windows. I gave up and keep them all maximised, and just shuffle them to the front with Refresh Window [bring to front] when needed.

Even if minimised the title bar of the window is still visible. On the Mac a window can be genuinely hidden, with only the name appearing in the Window menu.
