Encryption and Decryption functions for FileMaker Pro 7!

DataVaultMaker 2.0 Lite is a versatile spin-off of the yet-to-be-released DataVaultMaker Pro 2.0, a fully featured cryptographic environment for FileMaker Pro 7.

This new release harnesses new opportunities presented by FileMaker 7 to provide password protected encryption and decryption in the form of unique pairs of proprietary custom functions. The functions are seamlessly cross-platform and provide strong encryption which can be used to secure sensitive data within FileMaker databases.

The 'Lite' system uses custom functions to build encryption/decryption capability into FileMaker 7 files for ease of use and a very small 'footprint'.

Also notable among new features are the ability to separately password protect each encryption, the ability to encode and decode long strings entirely within calculations (a single function call will encode or decode up to 200,000 characters of text) and significantly streamlined implementation. Moreover the new format makes developer licensing much more economical.

DataVaultMaker 2.0 Lite is a free upgrade for registered users of DataVaultMaker 1.x.
