I can't insert a CMYK image into container field

I'm using FM 6 to pull together images and text and other info for a catalog. I can't get the images to import into my container field as CMYK, I get a JPEG Error 25. But when I convert them to RGB and import, they pop right in. I'd like to keep them as CMYK as opposed to having to save two copies of each file...I think it's a filter issue, but I am not exactly a brain surgeon here. Can anyone help?
