Ok... it looks like the problem was the filename had a space in it. *sigh*

I'm having the same problem but I do not have a space in my filename "GrassDB". Any suggestions?

Thanks

Well.. one of the first steps I took to discover that the space was the problem was to create a Test.fp7 database and make an incredibly simple table with a single value and single record. You can see if you can connect to such a file and if you can then it probably doesn't have to do with your file GrassDB.fp7 (?) otherwise there probably is something incompatible.

Another thing that I've discovered (atleast with other errors) that reinstalling and rebooting really helps (although this one error seems to be the only one that wasn't solved by that).

Hope this helps.. let me know.

Thanks for the reply I will give that a try.
