Hiding a window during an external script

I have a script that calls an external script in another file. When this part of the script executes the other file becomes the active window until that part of the script finishes.

How do I get the entire script to happen without showing the other window?

Any help would be great. I've tried using Toggle Status and Freeze window commands but they don't seem to work.
