Fill in a field during a find.

Here is my problem. I need to be able to enter information into a field and have my script take that information and put it into several different fields in my script. For example, I would like to be able to enter a range of dates and then run my script. The script would then take the date range and place it into several different find requests. I have got the script working except that I cannot have the script grab an entered value from a field. The only way I can get the script to work is if I enter fixed date ranges using the insert text command.

Enter the fields you want copied into Global Fields.

When you enter find mode, all of the field information is "erased" so that you can enter the criteria to search for. However, the data entered into Global Fields will remain in find mode because FM realizes that it's pointless to run a search on a field that can only have one entry smile.gif" border="0

Hope this helps...
