Stopping Report from Double-Spacing On Its Own!

Newbies

Any ideas how to fix the following? I am attempting to print a report that has a subsummary. A field in the subsummary is automatically centering the text and double-spacing. I have recreated the field in the original document, re-typed the information in the original document, imported the information into a NEW document, printed to several different printers using several different print drivers, added hard returns and the problem remains. Data above and below the trouble-child is printing perfectly. The problem I'm having looks something like the example below (the trouble-child is #3 ... I desperately want the list to look like 1, 2, & 4)
