Jacob22x Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 I just started serving our database on FileMaker Server, but unfortunately I forgot to enter some of the graphics that are defined in global fields. In other words, I have graphical layout elements that are really just global fields, but right now those global fields are empty on the host machine. I can paste the graphics into the global fields on the client computer, but then when I close the program those aren't saved to the host. How do I get those graphics to be stored on the host so that whenever I (or any client, for that matter) opens the database those graphics will be there?
Walter B Posted August 6, 2004 Posted August 6, 2004 Open the hosted file locally with your client FM App. Insert the graphics and then close the file and redeploy to your server. The global graphics should now display on the client machine from the host. Hope this helps, Walt
Jacob22x Posted August 9, 2004 Author Posted August 9, 2004 Thanks! I guess that was kind of obvious but it eluded me. I appreciate it.
