I have a field defined as;

Portal Row Number Calc Global, from Report_Categories, = Get(Portal Row Number).

The field is displayed on the Report_Categories Layout along with a portal to a realted table.

The value of Portal Row Number remains at zero when I click into any of the portal rows.

I am totally at a loss as to why I can't see the portal row values.

Thank you in advance for any help.

This function is designed to work in scripts. It may work if you make the field unstored.
