ODBC Driver for Informix 7.X SE for Mac?

I am wondering if anyone has seen an ODBC driver for Mac that would work for Informix 7.X SE? I am about to start on a project involving FMP 7 and the previously mentioned product among others and I am looking for the easy ways before I try the hard ways. I work on a Win XP machine, so I am used to seeing Informix listed in the ODBC setup dialog, but I am not sure of my options on Mac.

I sought about a year ago for the same solution, I remember that in that time "openlink" (http://www.openlinksw.com/download/) was the only solution. It involved rather complex installations on the server and it got less urgent so I didn't got it to work yet and it wasn't free.
