kwilder55 Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 I have a database that runs my company's timesheets. Is there a way to do a search to find people who have entered less than 8 hours of time, and then have the results emailed to our HR department? Any ideas? I may be way over my head with this idea. And how would I run an accurate find for people who have entered less than 8 hours of time?
stanley Posted August 13, 2004 Posted August 13, 2004 Kwilder55: You don't say if that 8 hours is daily, weekly, or whatever, but the first thing you'll need is a calculated field which will contain that number. Once you have that field in place, then you can do a find for <8. Make a layout of the data you want to email (as a list) then email it to the HR department. I am assuming that each day on your timesheet is a different record, and you're looking for less than 8 hours per day. I know that's a very general answer, but it's Friday, and time to go to dinner. -Stanley
kwilder55 Posted August 16, 2004 Author Posted August 16, 2004 Yeah, it's 8 hours each day. Thanks for the help, I'll work on it.
