Server 7 Mac OSX.3 failing at Autostart

hello everyone

Upon installing Server 7- we configured the daemons to start automatically, but we are getting errors and they are not starting at all either from the terminal or upon startup. We are also not getting any event logs in console.

The out put we get from the system log is

"the following startup failed to properly start; /library/startup items/filemaker server helper - execution of startup script failed. The following startup items were not attempted due to failure of a required service /library/startup items/filemaker server.

When we run in terminal and try to start the helper d we get no output but it still doesn't run.

Any help is greatly appreciated. We need this to work by tomorrow.

We had a similar problem and sorta tracked it down to the fact that we had installed the trial version on the same box and didn't remove everything before we installed the actual version. We backed up our DBs, erased the HD, reinstalled OS and updates, then installed FMS 7. It runs, though it dies about every day and a half.
