changing display of quicktime in container field

I was recently at the "FileMaker Magnificent 7" tour event and the FileMaker Engineer did a pretty cool trick. Unfortunately, now I need to use that trick, and I don't have any documentation on how he did it.

He had a container field holding a quicktime movie, (inserted as a file, not quicktime movie, or linked) and he entered some text into another field, and the field containing the file changed to display the quicktime movie. I need to do this.

I need to hold the quicktime file in a field, (not link to a quicktime file), and be able to play it as well.

When I use "Insert QuickTime Movie" it only links to the file.

Thanks in advance for you help.
