It has to be possible-- to do an import and let FileMaker Pro line up the fields from the XML file with the fields in the table I'm importing into. But how?

You can use a Style Sheet (XSL) to achieve this.

Ah. So we DO have to use a Style Sheet. We were trying to avoid that. Thanks.
