exporting to excel format using script

Hello,

I was wondering if someone can help me out. I am trying to create script that would allow me to export to wks. I want to create a button that all the user have to do is click on it and the file exported out automa. I was wondering if someone can give me some idea how to go about this.

Victor -- I don't beleive there is a direct export to excel option. What you can do is export to csv or tab and excel will open that.

Another trick that I have used is a master excel file that references the data in a csv file. I can have all the calculations and whatever in the master excel file. It simply uses the data in the csv file.
