Searching for contacts > another table

Featured Replies

Sorry if the header is vague.

There is a sample called contacts with FM 7. When you select the find button, the results are displayed in a 'view as list' type layout. The user can then click the record they want and they are immediately returned back to the main Contact Management screen. I'd like to do something like this, but with a twist.

I have a table called Jobs and I'd like to click 'find', see a list view of all the Reps I found (based on my find my criteria). Then click the Rep record and jump back to the Jobs table --- AND have the two fields (RepName and RepId_fk) in the Job table be populated with the Rep record I clicked on in the list view.

thanks for your help in advance,

sincerely,

J__
