Newbies Richard Francis Posted September 14, 2004 Newbies Share Posted September 14, 2004 Why does FileMaker, even in version 7, continue to use the old style radio buttons, check-boxes and drop-down menus from the "Classic" Mac OS's. Under MacOS X the style of these things changed completely, and FileMaker's own GUI does use the new Acqua style. So why aren't these styles available to database designers? I wouldn't be surprised if quite a bit <g> of code in the windows version of fm was also in the OS X version. also, maybe it's not high on their list of new enhancements, maybe support for Japanese is more impotant or ?
