bbjprod Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 I have 4 files that contain a yearly archive of stories. Each has title, author, date, and page number. these are very simple files. I was planning to share the files over the web and allow users to search the files for references in the stories. say for a particular company. the question is: can filemaker change the color of the words it finds? or highlight the words it finds in the text? for example: find the word string: "real estate" list every record the contains "real estate" and color or highlight "real estate". The text can have a word count up to 1000-2000 words which can make the result difficult to locate in the field. are there any examples that anyone might be able to share? Thanks for all the help. Dan.
dbruggmann Posted September 15, 2004 Posted September 15, 2004 I remember two sample files for high lighting found text:
