Not exactly, and grappling with sliced lines has certainly been a thorn in many sides.

You could, however, insert a character or string that isn't ever used in your text (say, <pg>) and then have calculation fields that take the Left characters up to the position of the first instance of "<pg>", the Middle characters between the first and second, the Middle characters between the second and third, etc. Then your layout could have those *calc* fields print distinctly on successive pages. (You could a non-printing version of the full text field off to the right (make it non-printing just to be safe), so that it would be easy to see how things should line up.)
