Several records on one page

Hello!

I've been working with FM for about... *counting*... one day now. wink.gif

Naturally, I got stuck.

I want to print several records from another FM-db on one page. In a way like the table view, but in the form view.

Is there a way to easily loop a certain amount of records to a page? crazy.gif

If it's from a related record, it's easy: use a portal.

Don't worry, most people get to portals around Day 2 so you're right on schedule. smile.gif

What i want do is this: At the moment i get data from one related db, and on the same page i want to get 'looped' record (with muliple columns) from another db.

Is this possible with portals? crazy.gif

Thru portals you can gain the scope on multiple ROWS (records) in the related db.

Then, for this ROWSET, you can display in the portal only the COLUMNS you want to be seen.

Does this satisfy your need ?
