FMPug is pleased to offer you this starter template for your use FREE.

This starter template is designed to assist you in creating new database solutions. We have begun the process of basic fields and scripts for you. Feel free to add fields, scripts, value lists and tables to this template that you feel you always create. It saves a lot of time when starting a new solution.

To use this from the New Database dialog follow the instructions below. Alternatively you can just copy the database and rename each time you start a new solution.

Instructions for placing inside the FileMaker Templates folder;

• Locate your FileMaker Pro folder and then go into your language extras folder (in US it will be your English Extras folder)
  
• Inside of this folder you will see a templates folder.
  
• Open the templates folder and create a new folder. If you preceed your folder name with A_ it will become the default folder.
  
• Place the Starter Template file inside this new folder.

Now, when you open FileMaker Pro and you see the new database window appear you will see this starter template file. Select it and you will be prompted to name your new file.

Feel free to send us your revised starter templates and over time we can create a great starting point for all developers and users when creating new databases.
