I posted this originally in the FMPug forum. Figured now is a good time to post here too.

Thanks Andy. I've added to my bag of tricks.

When I try to access the Mac OSX version I get a "page cannot be found" message ....

Hey Andy, like Merkaba22 said, the download does not work for Mac OSX.

ok guys,

how about this link for the starter template.

Lets try and get some FM8 features and build this little puppy up into a great starting point.

Here is another useful file for the inconvenience.

Do you have databases that are set to open with limited access?

Do you get tired of constantly holding down the Shift key (PC) or Option key (Mac) key and entering your username and password each time you want to access it with your admin level privileges?

Why not create a trigger file to save you the hassle?

This file demonstrates how to open a file or set of files that are designed to open with limited access. As a developer I am sure you are aware of how annoying it can get to remember to hold down the SHIFT (PC) or OPTION (Mac) key when opening a database to then enter your Admin level access details.

I tried to download your template, but the link called "Mac OSX users" seems to be broken.

Sorry to bother you with this, and thank you for your contribution to the Forum.
