I was trying to create a kiosk for an old mac clone running OS9. At first, I was using Dev7- but found out that I cannot make a solution that works on computer running OS9. I have an old FMdev 5.5- and the only other solution that I can think of is to re-create the project in 5.5 and create the kiosk from there.

My question is- will the solution work for this OS9 computer if the development computer is OSX? I need to know this before I install FMdev 5.5 and get to work.

You can create the solution on any computer with any version of filemaker 5.5, but you have to use the developer tool to bind the runtime on the same OS on which it will run. So you have to boot into OS 9, (or possibly use Classic) and bind the runtime that way.
