Using Site Assistant

Featured Replies

I've installed FM Server Advanced with the Web Publishing Engine and its serving up pages just fine. When I go into Site Assistant it won't connect to the server. I use the same address as the web server and publishing engine. Site Assistant either gives me a message that it is "Unable to connect to localhost" (or whatever IP I enter). Or it asks me for a user name and password. I've tried the name and PW I set up in Admin Console and a few others for good measure ;-), but the result is the same... "Unable to connect..."

A good restart seems to fix the problem for a few minutes, but after that the site assistant doesn't seem to connect to the server...strange.

Restart didn't help in my case. Anyone find a solution?
