I admit it. I got a job I'm not really qualified for. They know it, and they hired me because I'm cheap. Anyways, I'm trying to synch UPS's WorldShip software with the database. They provide a method for doing this using maps and ODBC. The problem is, I have no idea how to use ODBC with Filemaker. I don't have any documentation here, and I'm at a loss. Is it done one the server end or what? I've managed to do most everything else they've asked, but now I'm begging for your help. Anyone know of an example of setting up ODBC with Filemaker Server 5? Or am I barking up the completely wrong tree?

by the database do you mean FMP or the backend for WorldShip?

Assuming it's FMP do you know what backend they're using for WorldShip.

How often do you need to preform this synch?

Does WorldShip provide a data export function?
