Opening file and Citrix

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me how I can use an Opening file from within Citrix? I've created one, but of course, only one user can access it. The second gets a file in use error. I can successfully connect multiple times using <file> <open remote> but this will not be acceptable to me users. We are using a FMP server located at a remote location and operation via the WAN is wayyyyyyyy to slow.

Thanks in advance.

One Solution:

If every user has their own account, then each user has their own desktop folder in "C:Documents and Settings" on the Citrix Server.

Copy the Opener File to each desktop folder

If every user has their own account

And if not, make sure the opener file closes itself after doing its work, maybe via a script in the remote file that it opens.
