can't see hosted files on server

I have no problems connecting to the server. I can see the sample config file that came with the installation. But new files are not seen they are listed as normal on the server and there are no restriction as to what file people can see. I am stuck please help.

Check to be sure that in the Sharing option in FMP you didn't check the option NOT to show the name of the file in Open Remote.
